We are now able to perform traditional and sacred music at the wedding ceremony itself, in addition to our performance at the reception. All ceremony music is performed by our keyboardist.

  Ceremony Music

Special Notes:

  1.

The keyboard player must use his own equipment. He is a classically trained pianist, not an organist. A piano/keyboard and a church organ are completely different instruments.

  2.

While the performance is "live", some parts are delivered via MIDI sampler. No human can simultaneously play all parts in some of these pieces. Typically, the dominant part (piano, harpsichord, organ, etc.) is played live and is accompanied by pre-recorded "fills" that were in fact done by the live performer at an earlier date.

  3.

The performer can under some situations, accompany a singer soloist  you may wish to provide.  This must be done via prior arrangement and is limited to traditional titles such as "Ave Maria" and "A Parent's Prayer". There is usually time for a brief rehearsal of keyboardist and singer immediately prior to the ceremony.

  4.

Ceremony Music is a separate contractual event and entails a separate fee to the keyboard artist, generally $200-300 depending on complexity.

  5.

Ceremony Music is only available when The Basics Band is also booked for the reception.
